Poker-Blog[dot]Org[dot]Uk, is a fresh new self-hosted wordpress blog that talks about the Poker game: Strategies, Tips and Videos from Poker World Series.
The blog uses a very simple wordpress theme used in the available standard without any customization. The header text can be replaced by a logo depicting a relation to the game,poker without taxing the load times of the page as the theme minimally uses images! More social network links can be added in the bar just below, besides the RSS and Technorati links. The blog is not at all monetized so you don’t see a single ad anywhere. But also missing are social network widgets like BlogCatalog and MyBlogLog, which are highly recommended social networks to start building a readership base for any blog! The sidebar is, well, neat as there isn’t anything except the default recent posts, categories and archives at the blog.
It will be hard for me to say anything about the content on the blog, as the blog hasn’t been up for any more than 15-20 days and I am a total alien to this game, Poker. Seems to be a favorite with the britons, as I have hundreds of spam Emails in my mailbox related to poker and most of them generating from this part of the world.
There are these tutorials on the blog that players may find helpful, and the rest of the posts to this date are World Series of Poker videos. I strongly suggest that Cesarian(the author…) includes a small description about the major events of a video, in the post. This is just so useful for people in countries like India, who might be interested in your stuff but have broadband connections that are just too far from anything that can be called fast!

Great article on Poker-Blog.or.uk. The site does have some fabulous information on the World Series of Poker and the video tutorials have some great tips as well. Thanks for reviewing and sharing this site as I would not have found it on my own.
